What is the difference between algae mask and mud mask?

The algae mask is part of our anti aging line. Some have even called it a face lift in a a jar. The key benefits of the algae mask is it nourishes, moisturizes, gives an immediate and long lasting lift and youthful glow. The algae helps simulate the skins collagen production.

The mud mask however is deep cleansing, offering smoother and clearer complexion. It brings out a beautiful glow and helps strengthen the skins barrier.

 

Are Blue Lagoon products Vegan?

Our products are Vegan except for:

Foot Balm and Rejuvenating Eye Cream: contains POLYGLYCERYL-3 or BEESWAX

Moisturizing Cream and Intensive Cream: contains Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol, which is derived of Lanolin. Lanolin is extracted from Sheep Wool and is also know as wool wax or wool fat. The origin of the ingredients is thus from animals but it should be noted that no animal is killed in the process and Lanolin is only a byproduct of the already occurring wool production.

Hand Lotion: Contains Cera Alba, also known as Beeswax. Beeswax is extracted from the honeycomb in honey production and thus the ingredients is originated from animals but no animal is killed in the process.

 

Are Blue Lagoon products Gluten Free?

All our products are Gluten Free except for Rejuvenating Eye Cream and Foot and Leg Lotion.

 

Is there paraben in any Blue Lagoon products?

No, all our products are paraben free

 

Are the products animal tested?

No we only use in vitro en vivo testing on human skin and always will.
 

I have psoriasis, what should I buy?

Blue Lagoon is one of the leading treatment centers for psoriasis in the world.
If you are new to our products we recommend you take a look at our treatment line under "shop". The most popular product is the Intensive Cream and after that the Softening Oil. We offer our clinic kits as well. You can read under each kit recommendations from our clinic on how to use these products together.

 

What if I want to return products?

Blue Lagoon Iceland is committed to offer the finest selection of skin care and spa products. Every Blue Lagoon product purchase in Blue Lagoon online shop is unconditionally guaranteed. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it within 30 days from the date of delivery. Please contact us at skincare@bluelagoon.com with your name and order number.

 

Do I have to pay import fees or VAT on my order?

Import fees depend on your location. Customers in EU, the USA and Canda don't have to pay import fees. VAT is included in all EU orders, but will be charged depending on the receivers state law for the USA and Canada. 

 

If my order arrives but is broken or destroyed, what is there to do?

We will process a new delivery for you as soon as possible.
